7th International Conference
of the Polish Society for the Psychology of Religion and Spirituality (PSPRS)
Krakow, September 24–26, 2026
Submission and Registration Process
The conference submission and registration process consists of two stages.
Stage 1: Abstract Submission
Participants interested in delivering a presentation are invited to submit their abstracts by March 15, 2026, via the Abstract Submission Dashboard.
Authors will be notified of the acceptance of their abstracts by May 31, 2026, following the review process.
(Submit, edit, and manage your abstract submissions)
Abstract Guidelines
- Maximum length: 250 words.
- Abstracts must be unstructured, written as a coherent narrative, while clearly addressing the following elements: background, aims, materials and methods, results, and discussion.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English.
Presentations may be delivered in English or Polish; however, authors are strongly encouraged to present in English due to the international character of the conference. - No attachments are required for oral presentations, poster presentations, panel discussions, or workshops.
- For symposium submissions, authors are required to:
- enter a general symposium abstract in the submission form, and
- upload, as an attachment, the abstracts of all individual presentations included in the symposium.
The symposium organizer is responsible for submitting the complete symposium proposal, including the titles and abstracts of all contributions.
If an abstract has already been submitted by a colleague as part of a joint presentation, it should not be submitted again.
Stage 2: Participant Registration
All conference participants, both active (presenting) and passive (attending without a presentation), are required to complete the Participant Registration Form by June 15, 2026.
Co-authors of accepted presentations who plan to participate fully in the conference are also required to register and pay the participation fee.
Mode of Participation
The conference will be held in a hybrid format, offering both on-site participation in Krakow and online (virtual) participation via MS Teams.
On-site Participation (Krakow)
On-site participants may submit proposals for the following presentation formats:
- Oral presentations
- Poster presentations
- Symposia (minimum of 4 participants)
- Panel discussions (minimum of 4 participants)
- Workshops
Online Participation (Virtual via MS Teams)
Online participation is available exclusively for:
- Oral presentations
- Poster presentations (e-posters)
Symposia, panel discussions, and workshops are offered on-site only and are not available in the online format.
Types of Presentations
Oral Presentation
Oral presentations are delivered within thematic sessions and are intended to present empirical, theoretical, or applied work.
Each oral presentation includes 15 minutes for delivery followed by 5 minutes for discussion.
Oral presentations are scheduled within thematic sessions lasting either 60 or 100 minutes, depending on the session format.
Poster Presentation
Poster presentations provide an opportunity to present research findings in a visual and interactive format during dedicated poster sessions.
- On-site posters must be printed and presented in person during the poster session.
- Online posters must be submitted as a PDF (e-poster) and presented virtually.
The final poster size and format for on-site presentations will be confirmed by the end of May 2026 and published in this section.
Symposium
Symposia are thematically integrated sessions focusing on a shared research question or conceptual framework. Each symposium must include at least four participants and has a total duration of 60 minutes.
The symposium organizer is responsible for coordinating contributions and ensuring thematic and conceptual coherence across presentations.
Panel Discussion
Panel discussions bring together at least four participants to engage in a structured, moderated exchange of perspectives on a clearly defined topic. Panels emphasize dialogue, critical reflection, and interaction with the audience and have a total duration of 60 minutes.
Workshop
Workshops are interactive, practice-oriented sessions focused on skill development, methodological training, or experiential learning. Workshops actively engage participants and have a total duration of 60 minutes.
Participation Limits
Each author may actively present up to three contributions during the conference (oral presentation, poster, symposium, panel discussion, or workshop).
Roles such as panel chair do not count toward this limit.
Each participant is required to complete the relevant submission and registration forms.
